DCFX3 Wire Stripper – Precision Insulation Removal

The DCFX3 is designed to efficiently remove round magnet and enamel wires, along with any type of insulation film including Formvar, nylon, polythermaleze, and varnish.

Drilled Handpiece: This model features a drilled armature allowing you to strip wire (up to 16 AWG / 1.30 mmø) through the tool – ideal for use with coil winding machines or creating intermittent stripping.
Strip Length: 0.06″ to infinite length (up to 16 AWG / 1.30 mmø) with the drilled-though handpiece armature. 15 to 14 AWG (1.45 to 1.63 mmø) wire can be stripped up to 1-1/2″ (38.1 mm).
Precise Control: A variable speed power unit and bench holder provide precise control over the blade contact, ensuring clean insulation removal without damaging the wire conductor.
Versatile Applications: Ideal for production lines, repairs, and a wide range of applications – including armatures, coils, chokes, transformers, relays, solenoids, and more.
Simple Operation: To strip a wire, insert it between the blades, press the start button on the handpiece, and gently pull the wire out. Typically, one speed setting is sufficient for most wires; adjust the control knob only when switching between very large and small wires.
Self-Adjusting Design: The self-adjusting feature makes these strippers perfect for stripping coils and transformers with multiple lead wires of varying sizes.

Series Information

The DCFX Series from The Eraser Company includes a range of wire strippers and a twister.

Models DCFX1, DCFX3, and DCFX5 use centrifugal force to cleanly remove the insulation from round magnet and enamel wire. These units strip a range of wire sizes from 34 to 6 AWG (0.16 to 4.12 mmø). Models DCFX1 and DCFX3 are available in a drilled through version for infinite strip lengths. (See Technical Specifications for details on each model.)

The DCFXT uses a twisting head with three fingers to neatly twist together the ends of pre-stripped stranded wires.

The power unit allows for variable speed control, and a switch supports usage in both 115 and 220V AC.

An optional Footswitch Kit enables all models to be used as bench machines.
