Lightweight hand held thermal wire strippers for stripping solid and stranded wires. The HTS Series is especially effective on insulation such as P.T.F.E. and Teflon. The temperature at the stripping elements is variable up to 1100°F (594°C). The HTS1C has a cradle switch. When the tool is placed in the cradle, heat to the elements is disconnected. The hand piece is only 7-1/8″ (181mm) long. A fiberglass brush is provided with each unit to clean the elements periodically.
Thermal wire strippers from the Eraser Company are used to remove the insulation from wire and small cables through the use of heated stripping elements.
Model BTS1 is a bench mounted thermal stripper for material up to one half inch OD. The temperature of the stripping elements is variable, up to 1,400 degrees Fahrenheit. This unit has an adjustable strip length stop for up to one and a half inches and has a self-contained fume extraction system. The optional 90-degree element kit is available to provide infinite strip lengths. Also available is an optional foot pedal for hands-free activation.
The HTS series includes handheld models featuring a small and lightweight handpiece. The stripping element temperatures are variable up to 1,100 degrees Fahrenheit. Depending on the application, models are available with either foot switch or cradle switch activation. Eraser’s thermal strippers can be used on a variety of installations, but are especially effective on installations such as PTFE and Teflon.
