The blade does not move and is stuck in a closed position

Adjust the blade as described in the blade change or replacement section.

Poor quality cut or no cut

Check that the blade is not dull. Rotate or replace if necessary. See the “Blade Change or Replacement Section”.

Check blade depth adjustment.
