- Wires are twisting
- Check wire guide for proper fit to conductor being stripped.
- Lower blade depth.
- Check that wire does not push past stop button.
- Check that blade is not dull.
- Check that motor rotation is same as lay of wire being stripped.
- Wire is getting cut off
- Check that wire does not push past stop button.
- Raise blade depth.
- Lower blade depth.
- Check that motor rotation is same as lay of strands in wire being stripped.
- Try 70° optional blade.
- Wire is not stripping
- Lower blade depth.
- Check blade is not dull.
- Check that blade is properly installed, see “Maintenance.”
- Check that blade is near or on center line when fully lowered.
- Try 70° optional blade.
